Cochlear Implant Science Experiment
Just a quick posting, as we are off to dance competition this weekend. My lovely daughter did her science fair experiment on Which Magnet will stick to a cochlear implant. As you can see she won 2nd place in the school competition. I am very proud of her hard work. This project grow from a natural curiosity into why is mom putting magnets on her head! She wanted to see if any other magnets would work. It did! 3 out of 6 magnets worked. So now we are off to the county science fair on March 7th.

So, which magnets do stick? I've always been curious about the magnets thing.
Very Cool!!! So cute, your daughter is adorable and INTELLIGENT. Love the creative and awareness inspiring project! Hugs, Jodi
Jenna looks adorable and so proud of herself :) She did a great job and I can't wait to see how she does at the County Fair next week!
CDM: Me too! :) I can't get magnets to stick to save my life.
So you had to stick a bunch of magnets on your head for this science experiment? HA! What we do for our kids-- I tell you!
:-) I'm glad she won a prize! Adorable pic!
I love sticking magnets on my head...I do it for entertainment value...awesome party trick ;)! Congrats to your beautiful girl for winning in the science fair...what an original topic!
The only magnets that will stick are strong magnets, like horseshoe magnets and magnetmen(teachers use).
I am proud of my daughter. She is very funny about my implants. She knows more about it then me. I caught her research it on the internet. Her reason, so she could know if something went wrong and what I can not do. She wanted to make sure I can still go swimming with her.
Well off to school and county fair. She get a t-shirt.
Oh that's so awesome...:-) Kudos to you and your daughter!
Hey guess what? I actually wear a cochlear implant and did an experiment similar to your daughter. Instead I researched how a cochlear implant works!!
